3rd Space was a group editorial project highlighting the lack of community spaces in Western Sydney and why they matter. My section focused on skateparks, using real anecdotes to show how these spots help young people socially and developmentally. I art-directed the visual style, creating a bold mix of saturated, vector-styled characters over real local photography with a slight retro edge. The goal was simple, make readers recognise how important third spaces are for the youth to connect and feel represented.
