Learner Lane is a new driving instruction company aiming to stand out from the typical outdated, low-effort branding in the industry. The client wanted me to design an identity that felt modern, friendly, and fun, while still carrying the professionalism parents expect. I developed the core visual identity, including the logo, colour palette, typography, and early collateral such as business cards. The branding is designed to appeal to teen drivers while reassuring families with a clean, quality-led look.

The challenge was balancing “fun and modern” with “professional and trustworthy”. With no existing identity, I had to define a clear direction that avoided the dated look common in the industry while working closely with the client and a real brief for the first time.

The final identity feels fresh, approachable, and clean, with a versatile logo system and supporting business card designs. It communicates a modern take on driving instruction and helped me build confidence working with a real client and shaping a cohesive brand.
